New Site Launched Jan 2009 - FREE to register and free advertising

The new LossieWeb is an online business directory and information website for visitors, residents and local businesses in the Lossiemouth, Elgin and Morayshire region. We also provide a forum for everyone, no matter where you're from.

Sorry to all our previous members as all records were deleted during the upgrade. Please re-register and make the most of the new features.

This page will feature the local latest news, information of events and announcements. Registered members can submit items for inclusion on this page to publicise their events here and on our events calender.

News Feeds
We're constantly looking for useful and interesting newsfeeds to add the LossieWeb website.

If there's a website you visit on a regular basis that has information that other visitors to this site may find useful, then please let us know.

Our current newsfeeds can be found on the 'Local Newsfeed' page and currently has reviews on Lossiemouth services, Whale & Dolphin Conservation Society, (WDCS) news and most recently a 'Lossiemouth Surf Report' and Met Office weather feeds.

Use the 'Contact Us' page to recommend content for the site on any topic.

Website Up & Running
All features of the site are now up and running and should be functioning correctly.

All areas of the site are visible to all visitors, but only registered users can submit items for inclusion, or post on the forum.

Registered user can:

Post / reply on the forum
Post comments on the site
Submit item for inclusion on the Latest News page and Events Calendar
Create and manage their own photo album
Write and submit articles
Write and submit reviews
Write and manage a local club page

(Any of these methods can be used to promote your own products, services or website)

With the exeption of the forum, all content is subject to admin approval prior to publishing.

For regular contributors or club administrators, self approval will be granted at the discretion of the admin team.

User Guides
We're publishing user guides to the website, (for photo uploading, blogging, news submissions, etc.) in the 'Welcome' forum.

Please reply to the relevant thread to ask any questions or if you're having any problems. This will enable us to write more detailed and acurate instructions for other users.

Brand New Lossiemouth Website - LossieWeb
After several recent upgrades we've finally come up with the finished, (for now) Lossiemouth website.

All the features of the site will be activated over the coming days / weeks.

Appologies to our valued, previously registered forum members from the old LossieWeb, as all accounts had to be deleted during the upgrade process. Please re-register and continue using the website. I'm sure you'll find the new LossieWeb much more interactive, user friendly and informative. More updates to come soon.
